Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of Bakely Bakehouse ("the service"), operated by D G McClean Ltd (company no. NI726037), Northern Ireland ("we", "us"). By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to them.
Membership & billing
- Membership is a recurring subscription billed monthly. Your price is shown at checkout in your local currency (for example £2.99/month) and may vary by region.
- Payments are taken securely by Stripe. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method each billing period until you cancel.
- Prices may change; we'll give reasonable notice before any change affects you.
Cancelling
- You can cancel anytime from your account (Manage billing). Your membership stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, then renews no further.
- 14-day cancellation right: as the service gives immediate access to digital content, by subscribing and accessing recipes straight away you agree the service begins at once and you acknowledge you lose the statutory 14-day right to cancel for a refund once access has started.
Shop, ebooks & digital purchases
- Ebooks in the shop are one-off purchases, not subscriptions. Prices are shown at checkout in your local currency (for example £6.99 per book, or the discounted member price where it applies) and are paid securely via Stripe.
- Each ebook is delivered digitally in two formats — EPUB and PDF — available to download instantly after payment, and again anytime from your Orders page while your account exists.
- All sales are final. Because ebooks are digital content delivered immediately on purchase, we do not offer refunds, exchanges or returns once a purchase is complete, except where required by law (for example if the file supplied is faulty or does not match its description).
- 14-day cancellation right: as with membership, by completing your purchase you agree that download begins immediately and you acknowledge you lose the statutory 14-day right to cancel for a refund once your download has started.
- Ebooks are for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not resell, redistribute, share or republish them.
- Faulty files: if a download fails or a file is corrupted or not as described, contact us and we'll supply a working copy promptly. If we can't put it right, you're entitled to a price reduction or refund as EU and UK consumer law requires. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
Using the recipes
- Your membership is for your own personal, non-commercial use.
- Recipe content is protected. You may not copy, screenshot, scrape, republish, share or redistribute it, or share your login. Member content is watermarked to your account.
- We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or share access.
Recipes, allergens & your safety

We aim to keep the service available but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may update or remove recipes over time.

These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland, and disputes are subject to the courts of Northern Ireland. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
